Sony looks to bring Cable thru IPTV via thier devices & network – NewEgg offers the Phantom Lapboard as a PS3 bundle.
Sony seems to now be ready to take advantage of the PS3 Network and new IPTV devices by partnering with a Cable company to deliver content.
“Emphasising the company’s determination to lead the Connected TV market, Sir Howard Stringer, Chairman, CEO and President of Sony Corporation, said there will be more than 50 million television screens in the US by March this year that are Internet-enabled by Sony. That is divided between PlayStation 3 games consoles, Sony Internet TVs and Sony Wi-Fi Blu-ray disc players.”
Yesterday NewEgg decided to add the Phantom Lapboard to their PS3 listing.

The fact that Newegg will bundle the lapboard with their products speaks volumes to me. I’am happy for you John, and also Phantom. Isn’t this the first time we’ve been bundled ? I can see only more good things to come. The only thing holding us back is our lousy past history. I believe John has the patients to straighten that out, so we can someday re-list !!!

WOW, I enjoyed the latest video !!! Very descriptive with the red pop-ups. I’m still blown away with the Black finish on the lapboard and mouse. Looks good enough for a 55 Chevy Show Car !!!
