Blog Updates.

Posted in Jim the Web Guy on September 21, 2009 by phantomadmin

Well I love the flutter of negativity to our last posting, really inspirational.

Major Corporations usually don’t give you up-to-date blogs postings to read about the internal workings of their businesses.  They provide Press releases.  Press releases are usually to indicate success, momentum, large developments, and so forth.  Press releases also cost alot of money.  At this stage we don’t have any.

What is going to stimulate Phantom so that it may get back on it’s feet? ( Which will inturn help it’s stock holders )  Hmmm..  Money.  What is hindering Phantom from getting Money…  Hmmm Debt.  Where is this debt located, please review the past 6 years of Phantom’s history stating at the middle of last year.  Other than Debt is the chain reaction of events that started late 2008, manufacturing delays, Chinese Holiday, economic distress in China, lack of specialized parts, more delays on lapboard manufacturing, shipping via ship timelines, internal reorganization, debt management, failure of  investment ventures to stimulate income, customs problems, etc….

Negative blogs are not the issue here, I’ve seen my share of bashes and the such – the real issue is that Phantom can’t function as a business if  “powers outside of our control” want us never to succeed.  So since there are a select few that monitor this blog religiously for information that they can use to cause more problems for us, we have made the executive decision to send press releases when we have good news and the money to do so. Not to place that info here.

This blog with still provide information on marketing successes and Phantom reviews, but no longer insight into stock relisting, lapboard developments, or other internal items that may cause us more harm than good. We are sorry for the reasoning behind this decision yet it was a necessary step.  Something to leave you with.

Questions / Answers

Is my stock worth anything?
You own it, it doesn’t automatically disappear.  We plan to reenlist ASAP, but we have to bring our balance sheet back to the black in order to do so. We are keeping the same or better structure with our shareholders, we’ll see what’s possible when that time comes.

Are we relisting? When?
As soon as we have the financial ability to do so.

When will I receive my Lapboard?
All backorders have been ordered from our distributor and as soon as we receive them we will overnight them to you.

How will I know whats going on with Phantom?
We will be sending out press releases when possible to well known services a copy of that release will be displayed here on the blog also.

This Blog, your questions, our answers…

Phantom has and continues to go through a rollercoaster of events and some groups have some old ideas of what we NOW stand for; we feel while this Blog is a great source of information, unfortunately it is being misused in a way.

It has happened more times than none that when we share information of our progress and successes, something negative comes out of it. That is mostly the reason for the lack of posts over the last month.

Customs is still a current issue that we are focused on at the moment, a perfect example of how a simple issue has escalated into problems and set backs for us.  We are going to be more cautious moving forward on posting things here until we have more of a solid footing and a regular flow of positivity and company structure solidity.

If you have any issues please contact us directly at questions@phantom.net
Thanks for your understanding.

We have supplied all the proper documents however we are still working on getting the Lapboards released which I am confident will happen however the question is when. If you have not received your Lapboard yet and would like a refund until the shipment is released, please email me directly at jlandino@phantom.net.

If you are willing to hold on for a little while longer, thank you. Hopefully I should have more news next week.

Lapboard Update

Posted in Message from the CEO on August 4, 2009 by phantomadmin

Ok so – we are out of Lapboards and here is why.  We had a few cases left over from the initial shipment, our latest shipment is on well…. hold. Those that have ordered your Lapboards will receive them, and we encourage you to post you own personal review on the blog.

Please use the email used when ordering the lapboard so we can verify your review is valid.

As all of you know reading this, our product has taken YEARS to get to market – and well some laws have become more strict that we didn’t account for.  Like – getting through customs for example…just more hoops for us to jump through.  While educational, it is quite frustrating and embarrassing for us.

We still have some issues with Customs.  Apparently many companies overseas got into the business of manufacturing fraudulent and “fake” keyboards and mice. We have gone through the paces by making sure our product is one of a kind. Customs now, apparently, checks all hardware for this with a specialist who works directly with those manufactures.  iOne is getting the proper documents together so this should be completed this or next week. It is a slow process to get answers back from Customs.

Bear with us will post info asap.  Some of our Lapboards made it to customers and the rest will ship immediately as soon as we get the docs.
The shippers and custom officials are all cooperating now so once iOne sends me the proper documentation for our lapboards we can continue getting boards into your hands.

Wow, I’m really tired of reading the comments that directly relate to the Phantom Entertainment of the past, and comparing it to the group today… We understand the money that was spend, the hope that was put forth, and the dissappointment felt. We had nothing to do with that segment of Phantom’s past, we have been straightforward almost to the point of crossing legal lines to keep you informed and how we were turning things around to benefit everyone.

Do you really think we are just giving up?  Seriously after all the crap we have gone through to bring the Lapboard finally to life?  We had momentum and then the SEC threw up a wall we could not afford to get around. Our ticker is down now, but we are still fighting to get back up on the board and resume the same profile of investors that are currently holding shares. If you want to leave the party, we respect your decision, we however have come too far to quit despite the sky falling around us and the ground rumbling beneath us – We plan to keep the course of bringing of Lapboard to market.  Thanks for those that understand our ( the new guys ) situation.

This post is a bit blunt and to the point but we are all feeling slightly exhasted from the echoes of unfortunate circumstances that keep developing, hindering our success.

The next steps for Phantom Entertianment are to continue operating towards our goals of building the company through the manufacture and sale of the Lapboard. The current status of PHEI with the SEC is the same as we stated previously; the SEC has halted trading and will move to revoke our registration without audited quarterly filings. I have a conference call with a judge in two weeks however the SEC has informed me that without having an auditor currently working of the filings they will continue with the process of revoking the registration. We are one of MANY companies the SEC have served and on the conference call there be several other defendants. Again as we stated earlier, we will operate with the goal of accumulating the necessary funds to refile our registration which will be considerably less than the individual filings currently needed. I have been told that when we refile for registration we would be able to keep the same share structure, which is what we intend to do. With previous lax SEC enforcement we thought we would be able to catch up with the filings at the end or beginning of next year however this is now not possible.

When I took over there was $0.00 in the company bank account with Terry paying company bills out of his pocket. We are doing the best we can, today Terry wired iOne the payment for the next Lapboard order with an estimated completion time of 10 weeks (yes, we know what happened last time) but they have built in discounts based on delivery time lapses at my request.

As of a few minutes ago Jim just called and told me trading opened on PHEI, I do not have any news at all from the SEC that they will stop the process to revoke registration. Please consult a securities attorney for advice before you invest any further money. Remember, when you purchase the stock you are sending your money to a bank and in the end the SEC actions benefit the banks not us, if we are delisted. The banks will not have to refund any money and considering the sheer volume of companies involved in this SEC action this could be another huge transfer of wealth. Again, as far as the SEC goes I am planning on the worst short term. The Lapboards should be in our warehouse sometime next week pending the Customs process which can take a few days.

We are planning of selling and shipping the Lapboard hopefully by the end of next week.
You will see a new area on the Phantom Website at that time.

Those of you that have contributed we thank you.  We have decided that this form of money raising my be deemed wrong in the eyes of the SEC – so we are halting all new contributions.  That being said – those that have contributed will receive a full  refund, please email me your receipt if you have contributed for a full refund to chipin@phantom.net

YES – we want to be cautious and follow every rule of the SEC and show that we can do this ourselves – we love our investors for helping but we need to do this one alone.

Now what?!?! – How about some perspective.

Since the Infinium days nothing was produced…only the HOPE and PROMISE of a product. Millions of dollars spent on theory and well….who knows what that management did. They were getting paid convalouted amounts of money, and well it was what it was.

Let’s push pin that in at 2002 just for a time frame.

I became the new CEO in July of 2008. With barely any money and a four person staff working on faith alone, the Lapboard will be available in July 2009 ( currently crossing the atlantic )

As far as the SEC issues….We are at a loss – we are just rolling with the punches. There are no more gray areas, no exceptions that existed in 2002 that were exploited by all.  What there is a lot of are new laws that make it impossible for struggling companies that want to turn a new leaf to survive.

But we are fighting, with or without your support. We are doing this FOR YOU the shareholders.  We are not the company of 2002 – We could have easily taken the easy way out and just shut our doors and quit, but we stayed to push through the bias of the media and Shorters out there to prove that we can be a new company to launch our product, and grow from there.

The hard way ALWAYS costs more, and I’m not only talking money…  To our supporters thanks, and to others that feel different thanks also since you hung on this long… we wish you well in a “unknown” economy.
